The 39th Riai Aikido Friendship Festival 2020 was a special event in the New Zealand Aikido calendar, open to all affiliations.

It was a privilege for Riai Aikido to host this event with aspirational and excellent teachers. A big thank you to all the attendees who made the event possible.

And a huge thank you to all the teachers – Henry Lynch, 6th Dan, Mike Ashwell, 6th Dan, Simon Puffett, 6th Dan, Danny McIntyre, 5th Dan, and Justin Lewis, 4th Dan.

Planning is already underway for the BIG 2021 Riai Aikido Festival which will mark 40 years of continuous learning.
